ECG

The ECG is a method of recording the electrical activity of the heart. Each heartbeat is caused by a section of the heart generating an electrical signal which then conducts through specialized pathways to all parts of the heart. These electrical signals get transmitted through the chest to the skin where they can be recorded on computer. Used to exclude cardiac ishchemia and infarction [or heart attack in common words]. All previous ECG tracings can be retrieved on our equipment when required.
